Prematernal Home Assistant Director

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people in rural Alaska. The Prematernal Home Assistant Director will perform administrative and operational duties to support the Director, including managing payroll, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies.

Responsibilities

Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards
Provides general administrative and clerical support, including registering and discharging clients and insuring we have the correct documentation for billing purposes
Approve Kronos, Peoplesoft and lead lean rounding if Director is unavailable
Schedules and coordinates meetings, maintains class calendar, prepare staff schedules
Receives, screens, and distributes telephone calls, messages, mail and visitors and gives out routine non-confidential information Forwards correspondence/forms for processing according to policies and procedures to appropriate designee(s)
Collects information needed by supervisor for conferences and reports
Attends and participates in in-service educational programs, staff meetings, and any other meeting as required, to provide for position retention competency and growth
Composes letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of policy and procedures
Maintains and updates department policies and procedures and guidelines ensuring compliance with all regulatory State and Federal requirements
Reviews and comments on Operational Manuel
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Required

High School Diploma
2 to 3 years' experience in similar position in cross cultural setting
2 to 3 years experience in a cross-cultural setting
Food handlers Card within 90 days of hire
ADL or the ability to obtain one
Computer proficiency with various software and database systems
Effective communication in written as well as verbal directions and reports
Basic Computer-spreadsheets
Personable and friendly
