Responsibilities
Be the hands-on manager and leader of a global team of Cloud Engineers
Define and own our cloud strategy
Create blueprints for application developers that guide them through building cost-efficient and resilient applications in the cloud
Partner with application developers across the firm and enable their success
Develop self-service capabilities that allow stakeholders to access cloud services quickly, efficiently and within appropriate limits
Participate in on-call rotation and maintenance
Qualification
Required
10+ years, hands-on experience with large-scale, highly available, services on public cloud
5+ years people management experience
Expert knowledge of at least 1 public cloud provider, Kubernetes, and related tools
Experience with Direct Connect and related networking concepts
Experience integrating IAM into an enterprise
Experience with cloud-native security practices and tools
Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization
Comfortable writing Python
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
