Dalio Education Portfolio Associate
Dalio Philanthropies is focused on enhancing youth outcomes through education and social investment initiatives. The Portfolio Associate will support various projects within Dalio Education, primarily the Connecticut Opportunity Project, by managing logistics, communications, and administrative tasks essential for the success of the team's efforts.

Responsibilities
With instruction from senior team members, prepare and circulate agendas and supporting materials for meetings, both internal and external
Participate in selected meetings and workshops to learn while supporting through timekeeping and notetaking, including the tracking and dissemination of action items
Provide administrative support to the CTOP Senior Portfolio Directors, CTOP Deputy Director, and Director of Workforce Initiatives, including supporting calendar coordination for external meetings and the completion of expense reports and bi-weekly updates
Provide support to teammates and consultants in logistics related to external communications, including the Dalio Education and CTOP websites, social media, newsletters, and Annual Report
Support the planning and execution of grantee learning experiences including workshops, convenings, and learning visits, including administrative, logistical, and communication responsibilities
Support the development and execution of Dalio Education's research agenda, including administrative, logistical, and communication responsibilities; and
Provide added capacity to grants management, including tracking grant execution, reporting deadlines, and payments, advancing related processes, and uploading materials to SalesForce
Provide added capacity to contracts management for mission-related vendors, including around procurement, onboarding, invoicing, and payments
Qualification
Required
At least two years of experience: coordination of program management or systems in a nonprofit setting, and/or in philanthropic grant-making, and/or in data management and research organizations
Bachelor's degree at an accredited higher education institution
Experience successfully demonstrating the cultural competency to work across diverse populations and the ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders from various walks of life (e.g., colleagues, partners, practitioners, and community members)
Integrity, transparency, honesty, compassion, and strong ethical orientation
Emotional intelligence, creativity, analytical skills, and sound judgment
Resiliency under pressure and the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving and entrepreneurial organization
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and deliver high‐quality work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Self‐starter with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Capability to glean important points and patterns from data to make decisions and recommendations
Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
