The Residential Psych Tech is responsible for day-to-day care and supervision of residents, assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans, and ensuring a supportive environment for children and youth.

Responsibilities
Charts all pertinent observation on a continuing basis regarding residents
Subject to mandatory overtime and shift changes
Perform all other duties as assigned
Supervises and assists residents in wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine and hygiene, house rules and sleep
Works as a team member with other staff to implement program plans
Provides direct behavior observations and reinforcement of appropriate behaviors as prescribed by the cottage based treatment team
Participates in Team Meetings, shift information exchanges, daily cottage briefings and has input in the evaluation and treatment plan progress of each resident
Qualification
Required
A high school degree or equivalent is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred
Experience in group care or a professional setting with youth and children
