They are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support leadership with timely and reliable financial data.

Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
The Senior Accountant will analyze financial results and provide variance explanations
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
Monitor cash flow, fixed assets, and expense tracking
Partner with operations teams to understand cost drivers and improve financial processes
The Senior Accountant will identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies
Qualification
Required
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Preferred
Experience in the transportation, logistics, or fleet-based industry
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (such as NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
Experience with cost accounting or operational finance
CPA or CPA-eligible
