Truck Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities
Apply a general understanding of transportation and logistics practices and procedures to assist in negotiating freight prices and contract terms for customers
Analyze moderately complex transportation operations practices to resolve process and cost improvement opportunities
Foster key stakeholder relationships internally and externally for all freight sourcing activities
Provide industry market updates related to the transportation related activities of the business to inform strategic decisions
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience
Benefits
