Responsibilities
Deliver complex stories by end of sprint
Meet sprint commitments while developing software features for relatively complex projects, utilizing AI tools and methodologies to optimize design and implementation
Collaborate with more senior engineers during AgileDev engagements to integrate AI solutions, and effectively address defects and enhancement requests
Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, advancing best practices, identifying blockers, and mentoring peers and more junior team members
Demonstrate competency at two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers
Collaborate with client stakeholders during sprint planning to finalize and document technical approach with user stories as subtasks
Discuss (not just accept) requirements, iterate
Communicate status
Demonstrate acceptance criteria understanding, share daily progress, limit QA kickback, deliver stories as assigned
Qualification
Required
demonstrable experience with at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers
3-5+ years professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including ongoing adherence to best practices, and experience applying DevOps practices
Strong experience building and maintaining backend applications in Python, with a focus on developing secure, scalable services and RESTful APIs to support healthcare workflows and data-driven products
Proficiency in SQL and relational database design, including writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and supporting data integrations/reporting across complex datasets
Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, leveraging core services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Familiarity working within healthcare environments
Experience understanding and articulating the business outcomes that your development projects impact
May include intensive programs, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a equivalent experience
