Responsibilities
Provide direct technical support
Respond to service tickets and requests for technical assistance via phone email or inperson
Diagnose and resolve firstlevel issues related to workstations laptops operating systems Windows macOS Linux software applications printers scanners and other peripherals
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues LANWAN VPN WiFi
Assist with user account management and access permissions
Install configure and upgrade computer hardware and software
Maintain hardware and software inventory
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on IT equipment
Monitor and maintain computer networks and servers
Apply firewall policies and multifactor authentication MFA to secure networks
Assist with cybersecurity incident response and educate employees on best practices
Log and track support requests using a problem management database
Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
Prepare and submit regular reports on IT support activities
Provide oneonone and group training to users on hardware software and IT policies
Develop and update training materials and knowledge base articles
Work closely with other IT team members escalating complex issues to higher levels of support Tier 23 when necessary
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues
Qualification
Required
1 - 3 Years of experience in IT support
Experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
Ability to provide direct technical support via phone, email, or in-person
Experience with workstations, laptops, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
Troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, WiFi)
Experience with user account management and access permissions
Ability to install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
Experience in maintaining hardware and software inventory
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on IT equipment
Experience in monitoring and maintaining computer networks and servers
Knowledge of applying firewall policies and multifactor authentication (MFA)
Experience in assisting with cybersecurity incident response
Ability to educate employees on best practices for cybersecurity
Experience in logging and tracking support requests using a problem management database
Ability to maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
Experience in preparing and submitting regular reports on IT support activities
Ability to provide one-on-one and group training to users on hardware, software, and IT policies
Experience in developing and updating training materials and knowledge base articles
Ability to work closely with other IT team members and escalate complex issues
Experience in collaborating with vendors and service providers
