Responsibilities
Analyze production bottlenecks and develop solutions to enhance throughput and operational efficiency
Own and standardize product-specific cost model structures to ensure financial reporting accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, reduce waste, improve quality, and achieve cost savings targets
Develop and deploy innovative tools to support and optimize manufacturing operations
Research and evaluate emerging technologies applicable to the manufacturing and repair of gas turbine combustion hardware
Deliver technical training and provide ongoing support for new technologies and applications
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work optimally with all levels of the organization
Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies and their application in process capability and improvement
Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T
Knowledge of or experience with fixture design, basic statistics, sheet metal forming, fabrication, and welding techniques for Ni based material
Solid understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action methods
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
