Responsibilities
Design and roll out comprehensive safety programs that align with OSHA standards and industry best practices for fast-paced retail environments
Conduct proactive safety inspections and audits, spotting potential hazards before they become issues
Lead incident investigations with empathy and precision, developing action plans that prevent future occurrences
Ensure flawless compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations across all retail and office locations
Maintain meticulous safety documentation and records that stand up to any audit
Create engaging safety training programs that educate and inspire employees, contractors, and visitors
Build communication systems that make safety conversations accessible and actionable
Champion a continuous improvement mindset where every team member feels ownership of workplace safety
Foster an environment where identifying safety improvements is celebrated, not feared
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on safety experience in retail environments (you understand the unique challenges of customer-facing spaces!)
Strong command of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
Outstanding communication skills—you can explain complex safety concepts in ways that resonate with diverse audiences
Natural organizational abilities with talent for juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional demeanor with genuine patience and reliability
