New Grad, Entry LevelNavy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Picture Framer to join their team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. The role involves assisting in completing picture frame orders, providing customer service, and performing various duties related to the arts and crafts center.

Responsibilities
Assist in completing picture frame orders. Under the guidance of experienced picture framers, select materials, cuts stock and assembles frames, cuts glass, mat boards and completes the frame package
Answers routine questions from customers and may make suggestions. Takes customer frame order, performs cash handling duties, completes opening and close out procedures and necessary housekeeping duties in the facility
Assists customers in techniques including the use and safe practice of shop equipment. Issues tools used by self-help customers
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience which demonstrates skill in use of basic hand and power woodworking tools
Ability to measure and calculate materials needed for framing
Artistic and creative aptitude to design frame layouts highly desirable
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Skill in dealing with the public
Ability to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers
