Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end capital raising for syndicated and VC-style deals, personally sourcing, qualifying, and closing commitments from accredited investors and risk-takers (focus on high-net-worth individuals, family offices; fintech/health/tech preferred)
Build and execute BD strategy: leverage networks, Alpha Hub AI matching tools, events, and targeted outreach for efficient, compliant raises under Reg D/exempt offerings
Hire, train, and manage a team of BD/capital raisers; provide leadership, deal support, and performance oversight
Drive pipeline development, investor relations, pitch materials, roadshows, and closings; track metrics and optimize processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with deal sourcing, due diligence, legal/compliance, and portfolio teams to ensure seamless execution and strong investor experience
Hit aggressive but achievable raise milestones to unlock equity grants and transition to base salary structure
Qualification
Required
10+ years senior experience in capital raising for VC, private funds, or syndicated deals, with a proven track record of successfully closing significant capital from accredited investors (not angels or institutional VC firms as primary focus)
Established personal network of accredited investors/risk-takers (U.S. and/or international); fintech, health, or tech investment experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated success building strategies, hiring, and leading BD/sales teams in high-growth or platform environments
Full-time commitment; deep understanding of Reg D/exempt offerings, accredited investor qualification, and compliance
Executive presence, strong negotiation/communication skills, hustle, and results-orientation in competitive capital markets
Track record of personal closes in the tens/hundreds of millions preferred
