Responsibilities

Perform hands-on electronic maintenance and troubleshooting for Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs)
Complete precision soldering and de-soldering of wires, connectors, and circuit boards using 2-M standards
Maintain soldering proficiency and ESD certification when working with sensitive electronics
Conduct preventive maintenance, post-run inspections, and system turnarounds
Support battery charging and basic battery maintenance
Assist with launch and recovery operations, including setup and teardown
Operate forklifts up to 10,000 lbs and Category 3 cranes up to 4,000 lbs
Inspect and use rigging gear to safely move equipment and vehicles
Support target production and general mission operations as required
Bid and proposal support if requested
Other duties as assigned

Required

The ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
HS Diploma required
One (1) year of experience in industrial and shop operations
Basic electronics & computer experience
Basic Mechanical ability or experience
Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Must possess strong time management skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time
The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing
The ability to operate heavy machinery and industrial tools with limited to no supervision
