Responsibilities
Ability to strategically identify and assess anomalies, suspicious activities, and cyber threats using advanced monitoring tools and techniques
Expertise in analyzing patterns and trends to proactively mitigate vulnerabilities
Proficiency in supporting effective incident management processes, including triage, investigation, and escalation of complex issues
Skilled in documenting findings and ensuring adherence to incident handling protocols
Ability to generate insightful reports and metrics to support compliance and operational strategies
Skilled in fostering teamwork and cross-functional collaboration to create a unified defense strategy
Ability to effectively communicate technical insights and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives

Operate within a 24/7 SOC environment, which may require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualification
Required
Min 4 years with HS Diploma, 2 years AS/AA degree, 0 years and a BS degree
A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
DoD 8570 IAT II certifications AND

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Candidate must be willing to work the following work schedule: This position has a 12 hour rotating shift work schedule totaling 80 hours for the two-week pay period. Weekly Schedule is Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday and is composed of 3x12 hour shifts or 3x10 hour shifts and 1x 8 hour shift. Work hours may flex or change to meet mission requirements, most likely on a 3 month rotation
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is an advantage
