Responsibilities
Supports the maintenance and enhancement of applications for joint intelligence operations, focusing on combatant command workflows
Works to improve technology effectiveness, eliminate overlaps, and prioritize customer needs by delivering data and new capabilities to support mission success
Oversee multiple software development efforts, oversee O&M of deployed software applications, and participate in all levels of planning for future applications and projects
Coordinate with multiple project leads to gather and access status, ensure timelines are met and take proactive corrective actions as necessary
Manage one or more small application O&M projects
Resource planning, interviewing and hiring, extensive interaction with customer leadership to include briefings, presentations and real-time technical exchange meetings
Creating cost estimates based on a strong understanding of resources levels and capabilities and creating detailed technical approaches to customer tasking
Responsible for oversight and review of monthly deliverables, including the Integrated Management Schedule (IMS), Contractor Roster, and Program Workbook
Creating the monthly Program Management Review in coordination with the SITE III JIOC Program Manager, as well as weekly progress reviews for the customer
Participation in Quality Assurance and Risk Management tasks is also required
Serve as the backup to the SITE III JIOC program manager for all inquiries from the customer to include financial and contractual topics
Have a complete understanding of the contract deliverables (weekly, monthly, annual) and full understanding of contract funding at the contract level and at the individual applications levels
Problem solving, flexibility and the ability to collaborate on engineering tasks are key to successfully executing this role
Able to take and incorporate feedback and make adjustments to plans as options are developed
Able to listen and generate consensus among teams and must be able to convey vision
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
12+ of experience in technical leadership, systems engineering, or program/project management roles
At least 4 years in a management capacity
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph
Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle
Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communications skills
Experienced in Program management financials and reporting on a T&M contract
Full-time work in a SCIF
Preferred
Masters in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program
Experience with intelligence collection management, including current JIOC applications
Experience with managing software development programs using Agile and/or SAFe
Experience with architecting solutions using Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Augmentation technologies
Experience with Cloud Foundry or AWS, one or more modern coding languages (Java, Python, Javascript, C#, PHP, etc.)
