Multi-Unit General Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee multi-unit store operations, driving sales performance, expense control, shrink reduction, and profitability
Manage and develop stores carrying a diverse product mix, including consumables, perishables, soft lines, and hard lines
Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing management and store teams, with a strong focus on succession planning
Coach and mentor Store Managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, operational execution, and business results
Ensure consistent compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards across all locations
Partner with property management and airport stakeholders to address operational needs and maintain full compliance
Utilize performance evaluations, ongoing coaching, and development plans to build a results-driven leadership bench
Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring accuracy in reporting, documentation, and inventory management
Collaborate with the Buying team to optimize inventory levels and assortments, ensuring the right mix to drive sales and reduce waste
Oversee visual merchandising execution to ensure stores are clean, well-stocked, and aligned with brand standards
Champion an exceptional customer experience by leading through examples in service, sales, and engagement
Communicate proactively with the District Manager regarding operational performance, staffing, and employee relations
Perform additional duties as needed to support company goals and initiatives

Required

High School diploma required
3+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong understanding of retail financial metrics (KPIs, sales forecasting, inventory management, shrink control, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Passion for customer service and results-driven leadership
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and performance-driven work culture
