Responsibilities

Stays abreast of overall District water resources program. Sets priorities, plans, and provides direction for the utilization of the branch
Resolves problems and issues beyond the capability or authority of the section Chiefs, through coordination with higher authority, other agencies, and the public as necessary to facilitate the accomplishment of the branch mission
Evaluates overall performance of employees and section chiefs; provides advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish assigned functions
Responsible for technical quality of work produced in the branch. Reviews the engineering work of the branch to insure reasonableness of procedures and results, and consistency with Corps technical guidance and policy

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation
Position requires registration as a professional engineer
This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter
