Commissioning Engineer

As a commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for on-site representation at a partner facility, ensuring successful commissioning and handover while troubleshooting and improving processes.

Environmental Services

Responsibilities

Process troubleshooting
Reporting to Bygen team and management on on-going project status
Providing technical instructions to customers and production partners
Working with local fabricators and sourcing equipment
Refinement of O&M manuals, including troubleshooting guides
Assisting and training on-site operators for the transition to handover
Updating and maintaining relevant OH&S procedures
Liaising with suppliers and technical consultants

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (process/chemical engineering preferred)
5+ years' experience in process engineering, commissioning, and plant operation or supervision
Experience in installation and commissioning of heavy equipment
Excellent communicator
Have the ability to meet tight deadlines
Be self-motivated and a team player

Preferred

Prior experience working with high temperature pyrolysis or activated carbon production equipment (industrial, not academic)
Familiar with Atlassian, MS Office, AutoCAD desirable
Experience in thermal kilns and related technologies preferred, but not essential
