Responsibilities
Maintaining records, coordinating in-house maintenance schedules, and supervising the work assignments and repairs carried out by the Bridge Maintenance Crews for all structures within the District
Providing oversight and guidance to design teams and the Bridge Management Unit in preparing contracts for maintenance work executed by external contractors
Assisting in drafting the annual Bridge Washing Contract and offering field supervision to the Bridge Crews in your assigned region
Overseeing and directing the activities of the Bridge Foremen (HF3) in your region, providing both supervisory and engineering guidance related to structure repairs, facility modifications, and summer maintenance tasks
Qualification
Required
Three years as a Highway Foreman 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Five years of technical experience in highway maintenance or highway construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
