Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining laboratory spaces to ensure high quality, organized, and contamination-free conditions
Maintaining mosquito colonies and stock, including routine care and monitoring
Following established protocols while remaining flexible and open to process improvements
Supporting the research team with day-to-day lab needs as required
Contributing to a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous learning

Required

High school diploma or bachelor's degree
Curious, reliable, and eager to learn new skills
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, high-quality workspaces
Comfortable with repetitive tasks that require consistency and care
Ability to work in person in a laboratory setting in San Diego

Preferred

Prior lab experience is preferred but not required
Experience working with insects, animals, or in a lab setting is a plus, but not necessary
