Responsibilities

Aggressive New Business Acquisition: Own the full "hunt," from initial cold outreach and prospecting to closing high-value service contracts
Greenfield Opportunity Mapping: Identify and penetrate early-to-mid-stage biotech companies across oncology, rare disease, cell/gene therapy, and biologics
Service-Based Solutioning: Translate complex regulatory consulting capabilities into compelling value propositions that solve specific sponsor "pain points."
C-Suite Engagement: Act as the "tip of the spear" in engaging CEOs, CMOs, and Heads of Regulatory to establish our firm as their partner of choice
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a high-velocity qualified opportunity pipeline with a disciplined focus on conversion and "winning the deal."
Market Strategy: Constantly refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) based on real-time market feedback and competitive intelligence
Collaborative Closing: Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts to architect tailored service solutions that secure "six-figure" engagements

Qualification

Required

5-8 years of Business Development experience with a proven track record of hunting and closing service-based deals (Regulatory Affairs, CRO/CDMO, or Clinical Development)
Demonstrated ability to sell 'intangibles'-specifically high-level expertise and professional services rather than standardized products
A proven history of meeting and exceeding new-business quotas through proactive outbound activity
Familiarity with FDA pathways (pre-IND, IND, NDA/BLA, etc.) to ensure credibility during the initial 'discovery' phase
Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences required
You thrive when given a territory and the autonomy to build it from scratch
Strong consultative selling skills; the ability to ask the hard questions that uncover budget, authority, and urgency
Exceptional ability to articulate the value of a professional service in a way that feels tangible and essential to a client's success
Ability to work effectively with global teams while maintaining a localized 'American' speed-to-market
