Anesthesia Tech - Perioperative Services
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is a collaborative health care organization focused on improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans. They are seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesia staff before, during, and after procedures requiring anesthesia, ensuring equipment readiness and supporting the operating room team.

Responsibilities
Assembly of set-ups and preparing machines and equipment for use
Performing basic tests of machines and troubleshooting problems with machines
Cleaning, replacing tubing, stocking carts, and general turnover of rooms between and after cases
Performing blood tests
Taking care of residents' and staff's needs as a member of the operating room team
Follows directions and instructions from the Anesthesia staff and the OR coordinator
Models the Core Values of UAMS – Integrity, Respect, Diversity, Teamwork, Creativity, and Excellence in compliance with company guidelines
Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
HS/GED plus 1 year patient care experience
Preferred
Previous Anesthesia Tech experience
5 years of patient care experience
Associate's degree or higher
License or Certificate (see special instructions for submission instructions)
