Responsibilities
Maintain the company’s Quickbooks and Bookkeeping operations
Prepare licensor statements on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements
Calculate royalties based on sales, expenses, revenue sharing and licensor agreements terms and conditions
Identify and resolve discrepancies in royalty calculations and payments
Tracking and payment of advances, recoupments, reserves, liquidation and revenue sharing allocations and payment schedules
Sending statements to the Developer, Partners, and Licensors and responding to inquiries
Provide direction to partner accounting firm regarding payments, invoicing, account coding
Building, implementing and maintaining tools to help team track payments and expenses
Record incoming and outgoing invoices and payables in Quickbooks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business related field
2 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, accounting or similar field
1-2 years of experience using Quickbooks
Exceptional financial analysis and reporting skills, with a high degree of accuracy
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Shopify is a plus
Willingness to embrace ambiguity and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the video game industry including knowledge of titles, video game lifecycles, etc
