Computer Software
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end solution architecture for integrated SAP manufacturing and logistics landscapes, spanning SAP PP, EWM, LE, TM, Yard Logistics, and related execution components
Define and govern integration architecture between SAP S/4HANA and factory core systems, including MES/MOM platforms, shop-floor control systems, and automation layers
Lead architecture design for production-to-logistics execution flows, including production supply, line-side staging, JIT/JIS, sequencing, yard movements, and outbound logistics
Design scalable and resilient plant-level integration patterns, ensuring real-time or near-real-time communication between SAP and factory systems
Act as the architectural authority for solution decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, Clean Core principles, and long-term scalability
Architect integrated business processes across production planning, execution, warehousing, transportation, and yard operations
Ensure tight alignment between SAP PP and EWM, including staging, kitting, backflushing, production confirmations, and capacity-aware supply
Design end-to-end logistics execution processes across EWM, LE, TM, and Yard, covering inbound, internal movements, outbound, carrier integration, and dock/yard coordination
Support complex manufacturing scenarios such as high-frequency material movements, takt-based production, sequencing, and mixed-model assembly
Collaborate with business and operations teams to translate manufacturing and logistics requirements into robust, executable SAP solutions
Provide architectural leadership across multiple workstreams and vendors, ensuring cohesive end-to-end delivery
Review and approve functional and technical designs, ensuring cross-stream alignment and avoidance of point-to-point silos
Establish and enforce integration standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
Support testing strategy design, including SIT, end-to-end integration testing, and cutover planning for plant go-lives
Mentor functional and technical teams on architecture principles, integration best practices, and factory-aware SAP design
Qualification
Required
Minimum 12+ years of experience in SAP solution and integration architecture, with deep exposure to manufacturing and logistics landscapes
Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations (Private Cloud / RISE preferred) in plant, factory, or industrial environments
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong background in manufacturing and intralogistics environments, with hands-on experience integrating SAP with factory-floor and automation systems
Experience in automotive, battery, discrete, or high-volume manufacturing environments is a strong asset
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA integration patterns, including synchronous and asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, and API-based integrations
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management, and event-based integration where applicable
Experience integrating SAP with MES/MOM systems, PLC layers, Manufacturing Execution Functions (MEF), and third-party factory platforms
Proven experience integrating warehouse automation and intralogistics systems, including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) / Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Material Flow Systems (MFS), Conveyors, AS/RS, robotics, scanners, and sensor-based systems
Strong understanding of real-time execution constraints, error handling, fallback mechanisms, and operational resiliency in plant environments
Ability to design and govern interface monitoring, error handling, and operational support models
Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% per month, typically Tuesday–Thursday, aligned with plant deployment phases
Ability to work effectively with distributed global teams, system integrators, automation vendors, and plant operations
Flexible work timings required due to manufacturing operations, go-live windows, and cross-time-zone collaboration
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
