Project Engineer (Owner's Representative) - Data Center Construction

1+ years expKALCON is looking for a self-starting Project Engineer to drive core project coordination efforts across ongoing construction projects. The role involves managing submittal/RFI workflows, change orders, design coordination, and project closeout management while collaborating with internal resources and contractors.
Construction
Responsibilities
Assist in the management of the Contract and PO processing for vendors engaged on various projects
Ensure project compliance with Vantage document controls and file specifications
Administer project commissioning, closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation
Assist with commissioning documentation
Assist with customer handover documentation
Assist with company operations handover documentation
Assist with checklist requirements when completing insurance documents
Manage Vantage office activities as required
Two (2) HRA site walks are required per week to provide accurate safety metrics to the Vantage EH&S department
Translate job requirements to execution with minimal supervision
Assist construction manager in preparing monthly financial updates and forecasts
Input PO requests in the financial system and oversee the distribution process to all Vantage vendors
Assist with producing other documents as needed
Assist with internal and external project closeout requirements
Assist with scheduling meetings
Assist with scheduling travel
Maintain supplies (office and breakroom)
Assist with scheduling maintenance activities of Vantage offices and trailers
Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience
1+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required
Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a strong preference
Contract preparation experience is preferred
Proficiency in Procore is strongly preferred
