Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including writing detailed reports and escalating concerns through the chain of command
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, monitoring deliveries and driver check-ins, and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and coordinate with site teams and/or local responders when conditions warrant

Required

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
Have access control and/or badge experience
Have alarm panel experience
