Production Training Instructor

Novo Nordisk is a leading global healthcare company, and they are seeking a Production Training Instructor to join their Fill & Finish Expansions team. This role is responsible for the training of production employees, including on-the-job and classroom training, while also participating in the development and implementation of new training programs.

Responsibilities

Assess employee training & job competencies
Ensure new employees are adequately trained before the employee is released to work independently on the processes
Ongoing validation of employee competencies on the job & assess if further/repeat training is required & make recommendations to management
Coordinates with production managers & other teams on training plan execution & priorities
Weekly planning to ensure resources are in place to execute the cycle plan
Ensures documentation of training related material in QMS, to include recording & proper filing
Ensure tracking & reporting of KPI’s
Communication of employee training status with management
Responsible for ensuring department documents are current & standardized
Supports training & development initiatives
Ensure data integrity of on-the-job training documentation
Provides input to management in employee performance evaluation
Follows all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
Other accountabilities, as assigned

Required

Ability to read & understand standard operating procedures & various training formats with great attention to detail required
Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office suite applications required

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education & experience required
Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administering training programs &/or development of training programs preferred
Ability to organize, coordinate, & track multiple tasks & events, work in an orderly & methodical manner, ability to effectively prioritize assignments & ability to visually depict information & data to support & facilitate decision-making preferred
