Responsibilities
Review ARPA reimbursement draw requests submitted by internal departments
Perform sample-based reviews of costs claimed against executed contracts
Review and compare contract terms to approved projects to ensure consistency
Reconcile claimed costs within financial systems (e.g., SAP/COMPASS) to verify expenses were incurred and payments received
Ensure compliance with U.S. Treasury rules, Federal OMB guidelines, and contract requirements
Assist in compiling federal expenditures for SEFA (Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards) reporting
Act as a liaison during audits related to ARPA funding
Support subrecipient monitoring in accordance with applicable federal regulations
Perform general accounting and financial duties as required during normal operations
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including cost accounting
Demonstrated ability to analyze, reconcile, and prepare reports involving complex financial data
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably using automated accounting systems
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation practices
Ability to interpret and apply federal funding and compliance requirements
2–4 years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with federally funded or grant-based programs
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems
Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews
