Responsibilities
Advise on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, fund formations, limited partner investments, and a broad range of transactional structures
Draft, review and negotiate complex transactional documents with precision and commercial awareness
Manage deal components, ensuring alignment across interconnected agreements and broader commercial goals
Collaborate directly with partners and colleagues across corporate, funds, and finance teams while maintaining autonomy over core workstreams
Qualification
Required
A midlevel associate with 3-6 years of transactional tax experience from a respected law firm
Strong technical grounding in corporate and partnership taxation, including experience with investment fund structures and transactional tax planning
Skilled in deal management, drafting, negotiation and complex analytical work
A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate independently
Member of the California Bar (required)
