This role involves driving technology adoption, managing legal technology strategies, and improving operational efficiencies within the firm.

Responsibilities
Own and drive the firm’s legal technology strategy, partnering with IT to evaluate, implement, and optimize tools for matter management, document management, e-billing, analytics, and emerging legal technologies (including AI)
Lead attorney and staff training, onboarding, and change management to improve technology adoption, consistent usage, and data quality
Serve as the primary point of contact for legal technology vendors and ongoing system optimization
Partner with attorneys to align technology-enabled workflows with matter intake, staffing, budgeting, and execution
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives
Apply project management principles to support complex matters and firmwide initiatives
Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights
Help the firm evolve service delivery through operational and technology-driven improvements
Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, law firm administration, or in-house legal ops
Strong experience implementing and driving adoption of legal technology tools
Comfortable training attorneys and staff and managing change in a hands-on environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in a boutique or growth-oriented firm environment is a plus
