Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute trademark and patent filings with the USPTO
Conduct clearance, risk analysis, and IP strategy development
Draft and negotiate IP license agreements and technology contracts
Support due diligence and IP elements of M&A and other transactions
Communicate directly with clients and collaborate across legal teams
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution and IP transactional work
Ability to manage day-to-day prosecution dockets and file with the USPTO
Skilled in trademark clearance searches and IP opinion drafting
Excellent academic credentials, practical judgment, and communication skills required
Must be admitted to practice in Florida
Preferred
Experience with drafting and negotiating software and IP-related agreements is a plus
Exposure to IP due diligence in corporate transactions is beneficial
USPTO registration or eligibility for the patent bar strongly preferred
