Responsibilities
Advise on the tax aspects of fund formation, structuring and compliance across private credit, real estate, infrastructure and private equity funds
Support asset managers on compensation structures, regulatory considerations and operational tax issues
Work with partners and clients on complex cross-border tax planning, including time spent on secondment in London
Draft and review tax structuring memoranda, partnership and fund documentation and key transactional agreements
Collaborate with global colleagues on sophisticated and multi-jurisdictional matters
Qualification
Required
A tax associate with 3–5 years' experience in fund formation and asset management, preferably from a top-tier law firm
Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated interest in asset management and cross-border tax
Skilled in analysing complex tax issues and communicating them clearly to clients
Organised, proactive and comfortable working within an international team environment
JD class years 2019 to 2021
