Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex civil and commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts
Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and responses
Prepare for, take, and defend depositions across a range of litigation matters
Oversee document production and manage discovery strategy
Argue motions, including discovery and substantive matters
Work closely with a seasoned team of trial lawyers handling products liability, class actions, and matters involving the Song-Beverly Act, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumer products
Collaborate effectively with colleagues while maintaining a high degree of independence in case management
Qualification
Required
8+ years of significant experience in complex litigation, products liability and class action defence
Strong oral advocacy and persuasive writing abilities
Excellent judgement
Experience in managing cases from inception through trial preparation
Experience in high-stakes environments
Strong academic credentials
Admitted to the California Bar
Preferred
Experience in leading and managing complex civil and commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts
Experience in drafting and preparing pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and responses
Experience in preparing for, taking, and defending depositions across a range of litigation matters
Experience in overseeing document production and managing discovery strategy
