QBE Insurance is seeking a Senior Lead Inland Marine & Energy Underwriting professional to support the team in achieving profitable growth. This role involves managing complex underwriting cases, providing underwriting advice, and building relationships with intermediaries to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the achievement of operational objectives for the underwriting function and/or business unit

Perform underwriting activities following all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met

Provide efficient and timely service to brokers and clients

Evaluate risk for new business following standards, to ensure profitable growth

Motivate and develop the team by demonstrating good leadership behaviours and management best practices
