Responsibilities
Lead projects associated with internal business process improvement initiatives relating to Philips Operations organization
Participate in discovery and definition of new initiatives. Diagram and evaluate existing processes
Develop metrics for process measurement
Collect data to identify root cause of problems. Measure performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls
Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes. Develop business cases to support the project or program. Analyze, review and create executive level reporting
The MBA Supply Chain Summer Internship will last 10-12 weeks from May until August. Internships entail leading projects in a variety of Operations and Supply Chain functions across Philips
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in MBA program
Background in Engineering / Operations
3+ years business experience
Appropriate judgment in terms of escalation points and issue resolution
Comfortable interacting with middle, senior & executive management
Must be able to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
Preferred
Concentration in operations preferred
Knowledge of medical products and markets, a plus
Project management experience a plus
