Specialist, Earned Value Analyst EVM (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is focused on transforming the future of flight and is seeking a self-motivated Earned Value Analyst to join their team. The role involves providing guidance and analysis in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and variance analysis for the F135 Development Military Program, as well as assisting with system and IT improvements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide guidance to the technical areas as they develop, plan, and analyze tasks
Provide project management guidance to program team to ensure adherence to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines
Assist with implementation, testing, and evaluation of new Earned Value System software and procedures
Perform risk assessments and what-if analysis associated with task budgeting and program performance
Support Monthly/Quarterly Program Review preparation activities
Actively support monthly Program Estimate-At-Completion reviews
Facilitate monthly data reconciliation
Compile compliant Earned Value or project plan data approved by the program manager and provide to the external customer
Support on-going compliance reviews and periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Review)
Support the proper implementation of EVMS and project management through the use of standardized processes, tools, and reports

Required

Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relatable/skill transferable work experience OR an advanced degree with 3+ years of relatable experience. Experience to include: identifying, creating, and implementing process improvements
2+ years of experience working with business analytics, finance, and/or forecasting, including experience with MS Excel and strong analytical and trending skills
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

BA or BS with a major or concentration in Finance, Data Analytics, Accounting, Computer Science, or Business Administration
Graduate degree in one of the above-mentioned areas
Experience with SAP S4 Hana
Experience with Power BI, VBA, and SQL
Focused on results with the ability to drive tasks to completion
Strong analytical problem-solving skills – energetic, proactive, and solution-oriented
General understanding and openness to continuous improvement principles
Demonstrated effectiveness working across functions, organizations, and levels of management
Comfortably executing under the pressures of a highly active environment
Strong oral and written communication skills and a professional demeanor
Knowledge of P&W's Program Management toolset
