Responsibilities
Take ownership of database platform automation and CI CD patterns
Stabilize and standardize Snowflake and enterprise database deployment practices
Reduce delivery friction for application and data teams through automation and standards
Act as a trusted technical lead across database, cloud, and DevOps teams
Operate as the primary technical lead for database platforms
Represent database platform concerns cross functional planning and design discussions
Mentor and guide other engineers and DBAs to become database platform engineers
Be capable of assuming broader platform leadership responsibilities as the organization evolves
Qualification
Required
Deep hands-on technical credibility across databases and automation
Demonstrate ownership mindset rather than ticket-based execution
Be comfortable influencing without formal authority
Show evidence of growing others through standards, documentation, and guidance
Interest in expanding leadership scope over time
Evidence of designing or owning CI CD pipelines for databases or infrastructure
Examples of leading platform changes across teams
Experience operating in environments with ambiguity and dependencies
Ability to explain architectural decisions clearly and calmly
Demonstrated growth into increased responsibility over time
