Responsibilities
Plans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information
Develops Work Break Down Structure, task flow plan and master schedule
Controls programs performance through control and reporting methodology, team meetings, design reviews, hardware reviews, consultant reviews, direct observation and written reports
Ability to interface with large defense prime contractors and at suppliers/teammates
Ensures that all required resources such as personnel and equipment, computer time, facilities, etc. are available to support assigned programs
Leadership of cross functional teams, public speaking/presentation skills
Has primary responsibility for program sales and profitability growth
Responsible for financial performance in profitability and investment
Establishes managerial, technical and directive means to fulfill contract requirements
Responsible for legal, contractual and company operational procedures to fulfill contract terms
Direction, coordination, oversight, and performance evaluation of Program Management team
Application of program management best practices throughout the organization
Active role on the Business Improvement Team, focused on continuous improvement working towards the business goals
Member of site Senior Leadership Team supporting risk management and company growth activities
Generates and delivers technical presentations
Ability to translate customer requirements into specific actionable tasks
Ability to work with all functional disciplines of the business unit (engineering, finance, operations)
Regular travel in support of company business (less than 10%)

Qualification
Required
BS Degree and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experienced with large Aerospace/DoD companies or government agencies in tracking large and small program opportunities
5+ years of applicable project leadership experience
5+ years of experience in managing direct reports
Proven management and capture of new opportunity proposals
Ability to work independently in complex environments
This role requires punctuality, good attendance and the ability to focus on the work at hand during sometimes stressful situations and times where there are multiple priorities
Preferred
Knowledge of advanced composite processes, programs, vendors, and technologies is preferred
Experience in process improvement, work cell design, VBLSS, is a plus
Experience with management software, such as Deltek Costpoint, MS Project, Epicor, is preferred
