Fiscal Assistant - Local Government
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Fiscal Assistant to support the Lebanon County Children and Youth Services. This role involves providing fiscal support, ensuring compliance with fiscal operations, and assisting with various accounting reports and transactions.

Responsibilities
Provide fiscal support to the agency
Assist with weekly, monthly, and year-end accounting reports, journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete data entry, maintain a variety of database spreadsheets, process subsidies for payments, perform general banking transactions, along with related fiscal duties as required
Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of reports
May assist in completing required CYS reports
Attend trainings and conferences and cross train with other fiscal personnel
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work
An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by 6 credits in accounting
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
