Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair farm tractors and diesel-powered equipment
Perform preventive maintenance (PM services)
Diagnose and repair diesel engines (Perkins, Kubota, John Deere, Caterpillar, Detroit, New Holland)
Repair hydraulic systems, fuel injection systems, and wet clutch transmissions
Perform MIG welding and metal repairs
Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and volt/ohm meters
Repair and maintain company trucks and trailers
Diagnose engine, driveline, brake, air system, and ABS issues
Service Freightliner Cascadia trucks with DD13/DD15 engines and DT12 transmissions
Perform routine inspections and maintenance
Diagnose electrical systems using software and wiring schematics
Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication for trailer repairs
Complete work orders and maintenance logs
Inspect, diagnose, and repair Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units
Repair or replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, valves, and controls
Perform routine refrigeration maintenance (coils, refrigerant levels, electrical connections)
Install and test new refrigeration units
Interpret schematics and technical manuals
Follow all safety procedures when working with refrigerants and electrical systems
Qualification
Required
3+ years of diesel and farm equipment experience
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
Repair and maintain company trucks and trailers
Diagnose engine, driveline, brake, air system, and ABS issues
Service Freightliner Cascadia trucks with DD13/DD15 engines and DT12 transmissions
Perform routine inspections and maintenance
Diagnose electrical systems using software and wiring schematics
Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication for trailer repairs
Complete work orders and maintenance logs
Inspect, diagnose, and repair Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units

Experience as a Transport Refrigeration Mechanic required
Preferred
