Responsibilities
Analyzing implementation requirements of Parole Board and court case actions in the Central Office of the Board of Probation and Parole
Researching, analyzing, and evaluating material submitted
Reviewing cases with the Board interviews to determine whether each file is complete and accurate
Preparing replies to correspondence
Answering telephone inquiries to interpret board actions, sentence computation, and board policy to field staff, attorneys, judges, Department of Corrections records officers, and other personnel
Participating in training sessions for agency staff, including district office directors and hearing examiners
Qualification
Required
Three years of clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
