Paid Media Strategist - Google
Rubix Agency is a performance growth agency dedicated to helping category-defining DTC brands scale profitably. They are looking for an experienced Google Media Buyer to manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, blending hands-on campaign management with strategic guidance.

Responsibilities
Own and manage multiple Google Ads accounts (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Demand Gen, Display), ensuring campaigns meet or exceed performance targets
Develop and execute media plans and bidding strategies aligned with client goals, budgets, and timelines
Manage budgets and pacing across accounts to ensure efficient spend and strong ROI
Create, launch, and optimize campaigns with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Analyze performance data to identify insights, trends, and optimization opportunities
Build recurring and ad hoc performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders
Lead regular client communications, including check-in calls and performance reviews
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, analytics, account management) to ensure seamless campaign execution
Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, beta programs, and industry best practices
Troubleshoot tracking issues, conversion discrepancies, and policy violations, communicating resolutions clearly
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with measurable results
Experience across Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Demand Gen, and Display
Proven track record optimizing campaigns to achieve CPA, CPC, and ROAS goals
Experience managing client relationships and presenting performance insights
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and reporting tools such as Looker Studio
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and budget management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and changing priorities
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Availability to work EST hours
Preferred
Google Ads (Search and/or Display) and/or Google Analytics certification
Agency experience managing multiple clients and media budgets
Experience with additional paid media channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, or programmatic platforms
Understanding of conversion rate optimization and A/B testing methodologies
