Fort Lauderdale Litigation Associate (3–5 Years) – Complex Commercial Litigation

Responsibilities
Manage and support all phases of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses
Lead and manage written discovery and e-discovery processes
Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Work closely with clients to develop case strategy and provide practical business-oriented advice
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or clerkship + firm combination
Significant experience in complex commercial, corporate, financial institution, real estate, land use, construction, and securities matters, including class action defense, is a plus
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience practicing in federal and state court
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and take ownership of cases
Excellent academic credentials
Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Client-service mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Sound judgment and strategic thinking
Preferred
Federal judicial clerkship experience
