Director of Operations
Halcyon Manufacturing is a leading CNC aerospace prototyping shop, seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to drive process improvement, enhance efficiency, and expand supply chain capabilities. This pivotal role ensures seamless operations while developing a scalable infrastructure for future growth.

Responsibilities
Process Development & Auditing – Establish, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of production and operations. Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to defined processes
Supply Chain Management – Develop and implement a subcontracting program to effectively outsource work, optimizing efficiency while maintaining quality and on-time delivery
Sales & Business Growth – Drive revenue growth through strategic client relationships and contract negotiations, contributing to the company's expansion goals
Precision CNC Operations – Oversee and optimize precision CNC machining processes with a strong understanding of prototyping and aerospace manufacturing
Job Scheduling System Development – Design and implement a robust job scheduling system to streamline workflow, maximize machine utilization, and improve lead times
Continuous Improvement – Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing and operational processes and implement data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and profitability
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within a CNC machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment
Strong background in process documentation, implementation, and internal auditing
Expertise in subcontracting and supply chain development within a manufacturing setting
Sales acumen with experience in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation
Deep understanding of precision CNC machining, prototyping, and lean manufacturing principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive operational excellence
Experience with job scheduling systems and ERP software implementation is highly desirable
