Required

2+ years in electric motor field service or millwright roles
Collaborative, articulate, and safety-minded
Quick to learn new tools, methods, and customer environments
Detail-driven with strong technical writing capability
Comfortable traveling about 40%, including overnight trips
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Hands-on diagnostics — Inspect and test electro-mechanical equipment; perform mechanical inspections on sleeve-bearing machines
Field precision — Complete on-site electrical testing, vibration analysis, and shaft alignments
Technical communication — Present findings and recommendations to customers in a clear, professional manner
Documentation — Produce accurate reports detailing scope, data, and actions taken
Professional presence — Represent HECO's core values at every job site
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push and pull as needed
Stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
Operate in varied weather and demanding environments
Capable of manual labor for 12+ hours per day when required

Preferred

Strong mechanical sense; rotating equipment experience preferred
