Responsibilities
Partner with global and regional business stakeholders to define financial data requirements aligned with standardized RTR processes
Translate business process designs into clear SAP S/4HANA master and transactional data definitions
Support global template design by ensuring consistent data models, attributes, hierarchies, and structures across geographies
Validate data readiness for end-to-end process execution (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return)
Define financial data objects, attributes, and mandatory fields
Establish business rules, validations, and derivation logic
Align RTR data structures with SAP S/4HANA best practices and industry standards
Take ownership of cost centers, cost center groups, profit centers, and profit center hierarchies
Support data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization activities
Define and validate data mapping rules from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
Perform hands-on support for mock conversions, data loads, reconciliation, and validation
Ensure data quality thresholds are met prior to cutover
Actively support cutover planning and execution from a financial data perspective
Support the establishment and enforcement of global data standards and policies
Collaborate closely with Master Data Governance (MDG) and Data Governance teams
Help define data ownership, stewardship models, and approval workflows
Contribute to data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Support functional, integration, and UAT testing with strong focus on data accuracy
Validate end-to-end business scenarios using migrated and newly created data
Support cutover activities, data validation, and reconciliation
Provide post-go-live hypercare support and stabilization
Qualification
Required
5+ years of SAP functional experience with strong focus on data
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (greenfield implementation preferred)
Proven experience in large-scale, global ERP transformations
Strong understanding of RTR processes and related financial data objects
Experience supporting data migration, cleansing, mapping, testing, and validation
Strong knowledge of SAP financial master data and objects including: G/L Accounts, Cost Centers & Cost Center Groups, Profit Centers & Profit Center Groups, Allocations, Intercompany processing, Projects / WBS
Understanding of S/4HANA data model changes vs. ECC
Experience with SAP MDG or similar governance tools (preferred)
Familiarity with SAP data migration tools (Migration Cockpit, LVM, ETL tools)
Ability to read and interpret functional specifications and data models
Hands-on capability in mapping, testing, validation, and conversion activities
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working in a fast-paced transformation environment
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, building materials, or asset-intensive industries
Prior experience as a Functional Data Lead or Data Domain Lead
Experience defining global templates and harmonized financial data models
Knowledge of data quality tools, KPIs, and metrics
