Entry, Mid LevelTesTex, Inc. is launching its advanced Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) service and is seeking a motivated PAUT Technician to join the team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides a unique opportunity to specialize in the TesTex-developed Ultima PAUT system, contribute to a growing service, and potentially advance into a leadership role as PAUT Division Manager.

Responsibilities
Perform PAUT inspections using the TesTex-developed Ultima PAUT system
Master the operation, calibration, and data analysis capabilities of the Ultima PAUT system
Assist in developing and refining PAUT procedures and workflows for TesTex’s service line
Analyze and interpret inspection data to produce accurate, detailed reports
Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality inspection services tailored to their needs
Maintain and troubleshoot PAUT equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance the PAUT service offering
Support and mentor team members as the PAUT service grows
Qualification
Required
Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Level II (minimum)
Experience with PAUT in industrial applications, particularly in power generation, refining, or petrochemical industries
Willingness and ability to learn the TesTex-developed Ultima PAUT system
Strong technical understanding of PAUT equipment and data interpretation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel to client sites and adapt to various working environments
