Responsibilities
Host and facilitate corporate volunteering events (virtual or in-person), keeping energy high and instructions crystal clear
Run the event flow : opening, agenda, transitions, timekeeping, engagement moments, closing, and next steps
Manage setup and logistics : materials check, room/Zoom readiness, volunteer instructions, and contingency planning
Create a standout volunteer experience : make people feel welcome, included, and confident in what they’re doing
Capture and share impact moments : photos/videos, volunteer quotes, attendance notes, and short highlights for recap
Connect with nonprofit partners to ensure alignment on goals, beneficiary context, and post-event follow-through
Troubleshoot in real time : adapt quickly when plans shift, and keep the group calm and moving
Qualification
Required
Strong public speaking and facilitation skills (you can hold a room and read the audience)
Excellent communication and a friendly, professional presence
Confidence managing group dynamics – engaging quiet participants and keeping talkative ones on track
Comfort with basic event logistics and running a tight schedule
A genuine interest in social impact and the 'why' behind volunteering
A proactive, solutions-first mindset
Preferred
Prior experience hosting: corporate events, volunteering events, workshops, trainings, community events, etc
Experience facilitating on Zoom (breakouts, chat engagement, slides, timing)
