Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify trends and patterns
Design and develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate insights effectively
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate requirements into technical specifications for data solutions
Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing tools like Talend or VBA to ensure accurate data integration from multiple sources such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Unix-based systems
Support database design and management efforts by optimizing database structures for performance and scalability
Participate in Agile project management practices to deliver iterative improvements on time while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards
Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Assist in developing linked data strategies to enhance data connectivity across platforms for comprehensive analytics
Contribute to documentation efforts using Visio or similar tools to visualize workflows and system architectures
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with SQL programming for data extraction and manipulation
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Hands-on experience with R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks
Knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell) or VBA
Familiarity with database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms
Understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices
Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
Experience with database design principles and linked data concepts for integrated analytics environments
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities effectively
