IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC)
Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking an IT Cybersecurity Specialist for the White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The role involves providing leadership to a team of Enterprise Help Desk employees, resolving customer IT problems, and ensuring the functionality of customer hardware and software.

Responsibilities
Serves as IT Specialist (Customer Support) with responsibility for performing a number of critical IT functions and providing leadership to a team of Enterprise Help Desk employees highly skilled in IT customer support work
Serves as the technical analyst and resolves the complete range of customer IT problems within the scope of activity operations
Ensures that customer service requirements are addressed to include reviewing technical and design specifications
Monitors the availability and functionality of customer hardware and software and detects and reports problems
Coordinates, executes, implements, and maintains the installation and operation of customer application systems
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
Drug Testing Position
Recall/On Call 24/7 Position
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This is a Top Secret/SCI position with Yankee White
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as a condition of employment
This position is subject to shift work
Attention to Detail- experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been asked by others to review their work or data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
Customer Service - experience maintaining relationships with customers, assessing current information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products and services that are tailored to meet customer needs
Oral Communication - briefing mid-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of technical information to a non-technical audience
Problem Solving - identifying alternatives to address complex information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources that provide a number of potential solutions
Experience performing duties that demonstrate knowledge of computer networking, Information Technology (IT) protocols, and risk management
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum)
